How to – Tie your tie, four-in-hand knot

 

1. Place the tie around your neck. The wide end should be about 12 centimeters longer than the small end of the tie.

2. Place the large end over the narrow end.

 

3. Turn the wide end back under the narrow end.

4. Wrap the wide end back over the front side of the narrow end.

5. Pull the wide end through the back of the loop. Hold the front of the open button with your index finger and bring the wide end down through the same knot.

6. Pull the button and hold the narrow part. Center the knot.
